I’m always on trips for work so I stay in hotels. I was looking for streaming sticks so I can watch movies and other shows for free. This was a plug-n-play easy. Even my 4y/o daughter can set it up on her own. Video quality is great. It’s compact and light. I just wish it can also stream my phone’s display. This is perfect if you don’t have a smart TV as long as it has an HDMI port and you have wifi internet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy setup and all the apps ... Except a web brows

Great device and interface. The microphone built-in to the remote is a must-have feature.
Only negative feedback is that it doesn't come with a web browser like every other smart TV.
There are a couple of browser apps but to search requires a monthly subscription!, 😕

Roku is the best streaming platform

Extra points because this model was on sale!
There are several levels of Roku streamers - all do the same basic functions,
Some are more expensive and faster and support 4K/HDR10
Some are cheaper and only do standard HD - I recommend the mid range with 4K/HDR because pretty much all TV will be 4K soon.
Roku has lots of pre-loaded free channels - Great for older/classic content. The uptime and stability is amazing but you do need a good high speed internet connection of at least 50M/S
I already have a Roku SMART TV - So I already had an account that was REALLY
easy to set up and in only a few simple steps - It remembered all my add on services and account info. It just worked like it was supposed to. Nice.
I LOVE the remote control - ALL Roku powered devices have a virtually identical layout too. This remote for this unit is actually RF (so you do not need to actually 'aim' at anything)
Big plus is it will 'learn' your TV so you can control basic functions (ON/OFF and Volume)
HUGE NO NO NO to Best Buy - Why are you adding an Environmental Fee to a tiny item???
AND why are you adding G.S.T. on top??? HMMMM????

Great for chinese programming

Got about a week ago and my wife loves it. Being on a stick makes it portable so we can take it with us. Has a great selection from the TVBAnywhere+ App. Video quality is great.

Roku Stick

I love my new Roku stick with the new remote. It’s very convenient that I can use that one remote for TV volume and mute and I love the voice feature! I don’t have to type in what show I want to search for, I just say it! Also, the picture is much more clear than my last device. And it was so easy to set up it took little time.
I would recommend this to a friend!
