I bought this saw a month ago, I'm a full time Carpenter and use this tool every day. So far there's nothing it can't do. Framing, have finish blades for it and trimmed out a kitchen, ripping, anything you need it to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I retired my ancient corded circular saw. There's no need with this system. It is very powerful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easier to use and as powerful if not more so than a corded circular saw. Powerful, (Light) Easy to Hold and Use, Well Balanced, Battery Lasts... a great purchase!
I really love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mother and brother bought this for my birthday. I have an electric (chorded) circular saw Makita brand. It was my go to for the last few years when doing decks, or other projects that required it. I couldn't belive how the dewalt kept up and seemed to beat the chorded saw. It is quiter, lighter, but cuts just as fast and quick. I have quite a combination of the 20v and flex volt tools I am constantly impressed with what they can do.

Amazing battery life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this cuts as well as my old 110v Milwaukee corded. Amazing amount of life in a battery (I only have the 2/6ah batteries that ship with the kit.
Really should do about anything you'd do with a corded for general carpentry use. 1st battery will be recharged before you use up the 2nd. For contractor perhaps get bare saw and buy 9ah batteries.
Flexvolt beats the pants of the Milwaukee stuff. AND mostly made in the USA (vs chicomland). BIG THUMBS UP FOR THAT.

The absolute best cordless circular saw!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the chance to use this saw when another framing crew worked with us for a couple days. I had been using a 36v dual battery saw previously. This was substantially more powerful and we didn't have to worry about charging during lunch. Needless to say I bought my own and consider it my most valuable tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one of these for my dad for helping me do a large project. He only uses this saw now. Loves it. It is true this is just like a cordless. My sister also bought her husband one & he said it has been awesome & he doesn't use his corded circular saw anymore either. I'm just waiting to justify to my wife getting one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tool! hands down just as much power as any corded saws that I've owned. Nice to have the power of corded with the portability or battery. Has a lot of great features that set this saw apart from other cordless saws.
