We bought this as a replacement speaker to use in our car because it advertised having a microphone and the ability to be used as a speakerphone. While. Technically there is a microphone, it's absolute garbage and cannot be used as advertised. We tried using it both in a stable home environment connected by a Bluetooth to my phone as well as in the car. Both were an utter failure. If you're thinking about using this product for its speakerphone, think again, it's definitely not the right item to choose
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
