Great combo radio CD player. Speaker are loud and do not crackle. No static on radio either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been looking for an easy to use (and understand) AM/FM radio for a long time. Finally found exactly what I was looking for. Simple to understand for the non-technical people like me. No bells, whistles, flashing lights, or any unnecessary extras. I love being able to take this little radio out to my garden swing and listen while enjoying the fall weather. Perfect for inside, too. Doesn't take up much room and looks good. Sound is clear, precise and it's easy to tune to my favorite station. The CD player is a bonus! Now I can listen to my huge collection of CDs again.

I bought this about a week ago. The system is good, but the quality of sound isn't so great.

I needed a small radio for the kitchen.I work in. We need to be able to hear each other and what is going on around us so the volume is just fine. We don't need to blow the roof off! I like the fact there is no Bluetooth so people won't be fighting to control the radio yet I can still bring in some CD's. Yes I'm a kid of the 90's. Easy to use and yes it is perfect for what I need it for.
