I had a hard time getting it unlatched (it comes locked in the downward position.). But once I finally got it ‘undone ’ it has worked great!

Hard to open and close

The little gray thingy that pops open the hole punch won't last long because you have to kind of force it.

Easy to use

I travel to several schools to review document files for state and federal compliance. This travels well and handles the capacity listed with a smooth lever action.

Defective 2-Hole Punch
on September 3, 2020

I only used this 2-hole puncher one (1) time on 9/3/20 and it will not open anymore to punch holes in paper. It is completely locked. SMH This is the second item of Staples brand product I've purchased and it did not work. What is going on with Staples brands? I will be shopping somewhere else next time.
