Not worth it.

After a year of purchase and using inside my home for normal cleaning the left side stopped rotating and it sounds like the motor is going to blow. It is a great mop while it lasted. Not worth the price to only be able to use it for 1 year.

Worst purchase ever. Everytime we use it it smells like mildew. Yes, we have washed the pads, washed the base, tried everything and it just stinks.

I just bought this steam mop a little over a week ago. (I had a previous Shark steam mop model that finally burned out after about 10 years… Thank you Shark!!
I have BEAUTIFUL medium brown, real hardwood floors that I would steam clean with my old steam mop once or twice a year since I moved into my home five years ago. My floors seamed to look better every year — I couldn’t have been happier about the way they looked! That is until yesterday… I used my brand new Shark S7201 steam & scrub mop on my floors, and they are beautiful NO MORE! (I am close to tears 😭!) The low gloss look of a natural shine is GONE! I have tried using name brand floor cleaners to restore the subtle shine they had, but nothing seems to work. (I will include photos of break lines where I stopped mopping and you can see the original shine of the floor versus what the mop did.)
I will have to contact the contractor who refinished my floors when we moved in to clean then refinish my floors once again. WAAAAYY more money than I intended to spend to clean a floor… a true nightmare!
I am rating this product low, because although it cleans well, it is NOT meant for hardwood floors. People want their floors to be cleaned without any changes to the finished, not cleaned at the expense of the aesthetic.

Never Going Back to the Old Mop & Bucket

I won’t miss wringing out the mop and carrying the heavy bucket back and forth from the sink. The Shark Steam & Scrub takes most of the work out of cleaning the floor. It’s convenient to use and leaves my ceramic tile floors spotless.
It does not improve the appearance of the grout, though.

Does a really nice job

We have 2 pitty rescues that are 80lbs and 60 lbs. They track in mud and dirt depending on the weather. We do clean paws at the door but they still track stuff. So I purchased this to make it easier to keep clean. It does a great job and easy to use. We do use the 4 pads that came with it and get the floors all clean. But if you have a bigger home. You may have to inquire about more pads. I looked and never found where you can order more on website. So I'm not sure if you can.
I will say if it does last a long time. I would purchase it again.
So all in all, I'm very happy with it and tell others about it.
