I have bought all types of charcoal - trying to save money - but the hubby always says and now insists that I buy Kingsford. He says this brand gets hotter and stays hotter longer, allowing for better cooking. We both agree that it gives our meats and veggies a better taste than other brands too!

I have been using Kingsford Match Light for over 8 years. It is easy to light and does not leave any "fluid" taste in the food. I use both the Mesquite and the regular, and highly recommend both.

ONLY charcoal my husband will use!

We grill 2 or 3 times a week and this is the only charcoal my husband will use. It lights every time the first time. The coals burn evenly and last til all our food is cooked. Love Match Light and wouldn't consider another brand!
