Would not light

Bought these coals to grill on Memorial Day, they would not light no matter what. I tried paper, which would flame up, but they wouldn't stay lit. And halfway through cooking they started to die. Not really what I wanted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed!!!

This bag was not "match light" ready (as it indicates) what a way to start the celebration festivities! Kingsford im very disappointed!! We are not close to a store so needless to say it took FOREVER to get started... I guess it's time to change brands!

Won't light

Used twelve pounds of this stuff over the weekend and it wouldn't light. It was so bad we had to light the actual bag to get the fire started. I'm really disappointed because a few years ago match light worked like a charm but in recent years I've come to suspect kingsford is cutting corners to make a poorer quality product.

Would not light!

Bought this two days ago to use on my new grille, I spent five minutes trying to light the charcoal with matches and a lighter with no luck. I had to add a good amount of lighter fluid, it seemed like every briquette needed to be coated to work. This product was not worth the money.

I have always bought Kingsford Match Light and never had any issues with it; however, the last 3 bags I purchased would not light.I even used lighter fluid but the charcoal would not stay lit. Very disappointed!

Mother's Day problem

Had everything set up and ready to go, charcoal WOULD NOT LIGHT!! First time I ever had a problem with this product. I even tried paper to help, had to go back to the store to get lighter fluid!
