Match Light Sure Fire Grooves - Are not sure fire!

Two adults and a 10 year old unable to get a brand new bag of Match Light charcoal ignited for burgers this weekend! Charcoal would not light even when holding lighter to briquet for 4 to 5 minutes. Used to use this brand exclusively because it was so easy to use in my Weber Kettle. Very disappointed with product performance! Would not buy another bag!

When I decide to throw anything on the grill I ALWAYS ALWAYS make sure to grab that Kingsford Matchlight in the black bag! It just couldnt get any easier! I come home, put the ENTIRE bag inside the grill, cut an X in the middle of the bag, and simply light the edges of the bag I cut and within minutes all of it is burning. No messing with lighter fluid, waiting, or worrying when the fire is just right to cook over. I just wait about ten minutes and I am ready to throw that meat on the grill!

By the way, I live in Virginia. Your pull-down menu did not give me any option other than South Carolina as a choice for location. As for the product, I have to say that I have always loved it -- until the last bag that I bought. Suddenly, the instructions say to light it ten minutes before grilling. It used to be twenty minutes. As a result, I wasted a lot of meat because the temperature never got up to where it should be. Hey, if you are going to change things, let us know!!

I love this charcoal because our food never tastes like lighter fluid. It burns clean and doesn't overwhelm us with the smell of lighter fluid.
