i bought a bag of match light and i was very disapointed in it.after trying to light it for 30 min. i gave up and fixed my hamburgers in the oven. needless to say i will never waist my hard earned money on kingsford match light again!!!!
as a father of three i like useing kingsford's match light to cook with on sunday's during the nascar race and i have to say it is the only charcoal i use. it's ready to go when added to the grill and with the starting fluid already in the charcoal i don't have to worry about my small children trying to squirt lighter fluid on a fire,in their face,on someone else or on the ground. it truely is a blessing in disguise. it cook's great !!!!!oh yeah did i mention i am a bobby labonte fan!!! GO BOBBY GO KINGSFORD#47
I grabbed a couple of bags of Kingsford Match Light before I headed to the lake, got the grill out of the truck, poured Kingsford Match Light into the grill then tried to light the charcoal for at least 30 minutes, No luck. I tried the second bag, still no luck, I ended up driving additional 25 miles to buy a can of lighter fluid. I will not recommend this product,
I've used Kingsford MatchLight several times, but my most recent experience was with a bag that did not light. I will no longer purchase this product since I don't have confidence that the briquets will light.
I bought a 3.3 pound bag of Matchlight yesturday and number one, it did not want to light and after finally getting it started, it would not stay lite.
Don't know...maybe a bad batch I guess.

its kind of bad when you spend good money on a product that does not do as advertised.i had to use starter fluid on something that supose to be match ready.........................
This is all I ever use. During the summer, its a weekly occurence. Pile it on the grill, light it, and 10-15 minutes its ready to be spread and grilling begins. Just enough time to put the burgers together.
