My family and I spend hundreds of dollars each Summer on Charcol. We finally came across Kingsford light match and absolutely love it

For the past year when we buy this most of the time it won't even light when it is first opened, no tear in the bag or anything. Not sure why the quality has gone down but now we have to buy lighter fluid to keep around so now we are looking into buying another brand.

This stuff is flame retardant. Matchlight? A joke. This will put out a match in seconds. Won't light with a Bic lighter, killed a fireplace butane trying as well. Put pile of newspaper underneath and burned that but coals just laughed. Lets see if they allow this accurate post about their terrible product.

This is a great product and usually works very quick and very well. However the last 2 bags I have had will not light I had to use lighter fluid to get it started. I will still continue to use this because it is a fantastic charcoal and saves time getting to grilling while it makes the food more tasty.

I HAVE USED YOUR PRODUCTS FOR 45 YEARS. i GOT A BAG AND CAN'T LIGHT IT? THE FIRST TIME, SPENT 45 MINUTES WITH A LIGHTER BEFORE IT WAS STARTED. I TRIED IT AGAIN TONIGHT AND I FINALLY QUIT. 1 (ONE!) BRIQUET IS LIT
