Got the big bag of the black & red bag and it was sitting in the house for a week and went to use it and we had the chicken on the grill for a hour and still wasnt done

I've been purchasing Match Light for several years. I've had an issue with the last 3 bags lighting. I hope your formula hasn't changed.

We have used Match Light Charcoal for years and NEVER had a problem with it lighting, since all these bad reviews, I can not find it any where. Please tell me where I can find some to buy almost out. Thank you

Purchase a large bag of this product it was difficult to light and coals would not bur I was so disappointed with this product

Wont light!

I used this brand new bag partially once. They lit the first I stored them in my apt. in the closed bag. Second time they won't even light!I used up a Bic long lighter trying to light them.Also the first time I used them they didn't even burn to finish. Grill was full of unburned calls! Terrible product!

As soon as I move my Scripto lighter, they go out. I'm going back to lighter fluid!

Would not light!

On Friday afternoon we bought a Weber charcoal grill and a pack with 2 bags of Match Light Charcoal. We went home and my handicapped husband put the grill together and we put it out on the patio of our apartment. This afternoon we went out pulled the grill away from the building put a decent sized pile of Match Light in the grill. Used a brand new BIC lighter (the long kind) and used up HALF the fuel in the lighter trying to start the charcoal. It would NOT light!
We camped for 25 years I KNOW how to start a fire and years ago we used some Match Light and it worked fine!
Something has changed or this is a bad batch! I had to leave my company and go to buy lighter fluid!
What a MAJOR failure your Match Light is!
I will never but Kingsford products again! I am 73 years old with a disabled husband I resent having to make a trip just to get lighter fluid because your product is a lie!

Did not light!

I purchased a bag at Walmart day before Memorial Day. I tried to grill out day after and it took 20 mins to get the coals lit. Today I tried to grill out again and same issue. They did not instantly light at all. I ended up destroying the coals + extra and thru in trash.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
