[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first Oreck was used purchased in used vacuum store. I bought it because of what I heard about Oreck reliability. That was about 10 years ago. Decided to upgrade as I was having some problems with my used ones and I could not fix it. I purchased this new one so my cleaning person would not have to lug her Shark cleaner inside everytime. Works great, lightweight and dependable so far. I will ask my cleaning person what she thinks after she tries it out soon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a oreck for 13 years and loved it. The one I bought now is ok, but because it is commercial grade it doesn't do good on my medium carpet in living room. It pushes hard, so I'm going to try to resell it. My old one was blue and no adjustment on heights but worked great no matter what the surface. I paid more money for my old one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Won't move on any of my carpets.

Great on hardwoods but unable to move vacuum on any carpets. Awful! It doesn't budge! I have never been able to figure out why it doesn't move on carpets. Help!! It's hardly used so it can't be worn out parts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Iwould buy this product again and again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it for general vacuuming of my home which includes wood floors and throw rugs. I love it because its light weight, easy to change the bag, has a nice long cord, and no "bells 'n' whistles" frills. Its just a good, basic upright that is easy to maneuver.
