JBL Tune 530 Wired — my go-to for DJ practice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using  the JBL tune 530 wired for my DJ sessions and honestly, they become a permanent part of my set up. I mix on a Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX with Serato and DJ Pro, and these headphones, help me a lot with cueing tracks and catching the beat before I bring it in. The sound is punchy where it matters and the bass is clear enough to lock into a kick drum even when I’m previewing a track over the main mix. Being wired is actually a plus for me, no latency, no battery anxiety mid-mix, just plug in and go.. They’re light enough to wear for long practice session and the earcups fold flat when I want to do the classic one-ear DJ monitoring thing. For the price I really can’t complain, and I highly recommend it and this is exactly what you need.

Great for kids devices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my nephew has been with me all summer. He tends to have his iPad device on loud and I handed him the tune 530 wired headphones. He loves them! He will not put them down and will not use his iPad without it now. He says it cancels out noise. He can’t hear the dogs bark, and he can focus on his game, watch videos and watch movies without interruptions. I’d say that a 5 star!

Light but sounds heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are some solid headphones. Ive been using them for calls and some background music when im working. I like that they’re light but they pack a heavy punch when it comes to bass for when I really want some energy. I like that they’re wired so that I can hop straight on calls without having to worry about if it’s connected or not. The reason why I took one star off is because there is a lot of noise bleed when it comes to the mic. That’s to be expected with headphones as they’re not headsets. Overall great product though

Good entry level wired headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune 530, is a great cheap affordable headset. It only includes one connection method, 3.5 mm. The cable is tangled resistant in flat, which is very nice. The headband on these headphones has moderate clamping force and extends to fit adult size heads. But it also goes small enough for a child. The ear cups are round, which is not the most comfortable depending on the shape of your ear. I found the pressure moderately uncomfortable after a while. The foam on the cups is also stiffer than some others. But for the price, this is fair. The air cups rotate and fold flat to make storage easier, but the headband does not very much. The sound EQ tends to be between flat and bass-y. They achieve clear sound at higher volumes than I was comfortable listening to. I found the level of detail to be average, but good for entry level. JBL advertises pure bass sound, so I would say that is fairly accurate. There is an in-line microphone in the cord, which can be used for calls. I was unable to test this feature, because I only could connect to my laptop. There is one button on the cable that can pause/play music and I assume answers calls. Overall, I would recommend these headphones to anyone looking for a cheap affordable pair of basic headphones. My kids and I will use them for their tablets since batteries and charging are not required and I don’t have to worry about Bluetooth exposure.

Lightweight and good quality JBL sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These over the ear headphones are lightweight, easy to use and deliver quality deep bass sound for the price. The volume exceeds my expectations for an over ear headphone at this price point. I initially thought I would be able to use with my cellphone but my mistake for not paying attention to the details. However, I have found them to be very useful plugged into my ROKU as I watch tv during a recovery period after hospital stay. My only complaint is I wish the cord was longer. But, I think others might appreciate the shorter length. It’s tangle free as advertised. And this might just be me, but after an hour of use I have to remove as they feel tight on my ears. They are lightweight, so this might not be the experience for everyone who uses them. If you need a pair of headphones like these, you will be pleased with rich sound quality we expect from JBL at a great price.

Small ears with good sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones would be great for a petite person or a child. The ear pieces are on the smaller side making it very uncomfortable when worn fir more than 30 mins. The sound is great.
