Everything about this phone is smooth, fresh and refreshing. The UI is solid. The operation is great. The camera is wonderful. The battery was the weakest aspect, but a recent software update seems to have resolved that for me as well. I'm ending workdays with 60% of my battery left now.
No doubt this one of the best version of android phones out there but It is surprisingly lacking in some areas.Everyone knows the good so i would skip them but quick notes, great screen, great post processed pictures from back camera, the pixel specific features are beyond amazing. The bad: Front camera is horrible. this is not something i expected from google. The video call version is grainy and feels like has a lot of noise. the pictures post processing are a mixed bag sometimes they are great other times they are extremely unrealistic and over worked. The battery, i understand that google had to slowdown the charging to get battery battery performance but i feel maybe the tensor chip takes up too much energy since it never lasts a day. overall great phone but the issues need to be fixed by software updates
It's a solid device as far as performance. Very snappy. The screen looks great, although I'm not a huge fan of the curved edges. It just looks a little weird and adds no value. But it's not a big deal. The camera(s) are great for a telephone. It's a long ways away from a real camera, but impressive for a hand rectangle. I really like the optical zoom that was added. My biggest complaint would be...why in the good name of god would you make it so slippery. It's like they are daring you to drop it. Maybe just slather it in oil next time. It's rather pointless to make it all shiny and pretty when 99% of users are going to cover it in a case. Just rubberize the exterior and make it comfortable to hold. Does anyone really care what it looks like aside from people who somehow got a living reviewing telephones?? Nitpicking aside, it's a great device.
I was extremely anxious about my purchase because I owned an absolutely awesome Pixel 5 that did pretty much everything that I needed it to do. I didn't want the let down that I had when moving from my Pixel 3 to the 4. But this Pixel 6 is blessed with all of the awesomeness of the 5 with a ton of additional icing on the top. You folks sure nailed down the set up process. I attached my Pixel 5 to the 6 pro and to my surprise it transferred everything in exactly the same format. The only thing I had to do was activate some apps on the new phone. This is indeed a genuine upgrade from the 5 and I am pleased with my purchase.
The Pixel 6 Pro is easily the best out of box user experience that I've ever experienced with a consumer electronics device. With its new Tensor chip, the Pixel 6 is a phone that adapts to you. You will be pleasantly surprised with the A.I. and how it contributes to your overall user experience, from user interactions to system optimizations behind the scene. Tensor seamlessly manages to achieve these feats without feeling intrusive or restrictive. This is truly a phone Made By Google.
Everything one needs in a mobile device with smooth transitioning of apps, keyboard, photos and music. Great for a productive work flow as well and can handle them all simultaneously with ease. I've had and used every previous pixel phone to date and this by far exceeded expectations.
