Awesome phone
on December 13, 2021

This is my first pixel phone; I move from OnePlus to the new Pixel being somewhat disappointed with the new products coming from OnePlus. I can say with confidence that the Pixel 6 has exceeded my expectations. It is fast, reliable, the battery lasts, and the camera takes excellent pictures. Product design is superb. Someone paid attention to details. Highly recommended.

Fingerprint Scanner :(
on December 13, 2021
Posted by: James O
I read a lot of reviews on the fingerprint scanner before buying. And after reading all that, I was still left thinking "Yeah it bothers *some* people a lot. But I don't think it will bother me that much." It bothers me that much, even though I have taken the latest update that was supposed to help and I added the same fingerprint multiple times which is also supposed to help.Easily 5 stars if the fingerprint scanner worked as consistently and quickly as the on-the-back scanner from previous Pixels. Also, it's a huge device. If only there had been a smaller pro model available.

About time, a Pixel for the masses!
on December 13, 2021

I have purchased all Google Pixel phones every year and the Pixel 6 Pro seems to have gotten it right. It is still the best phone to take photos with because every shot is amazing. The Pixel Pro 6 is fast and smart for making ones life more efficient with its excellent features such as Call Screening or Voice dictation. If you use Google products, this phone integrates all of those so they work perfectly for you, the user!

Great phone, bugs need fixing.

Overall this is a wonderful phone, dare I say the best phone of this year. The screen is beautiful, the cameras are amazing, and the performance of the new Google Tensor is mindblowingly fast. Battery is also top notch on this phone. Only thing I can complain about is that the phone randomly switches 120Hz off at random and won't turn back on until I restart the phone. That can be fixed with an update however.

Constant crashes when using the camera
on December 13, 2021
Posted by: ziadc
Truly disappointing experience, the main feature of the phone is practically unusable. The phone constantly crashes when using the camera, following the usual remedies did not help (reset, etc), this came out like this out of the box.I'd rate the phone better if the cause of the crashes was something else, but this is truly disappointing at best to be told that it could take months for this bug to be fixed.

Rounded edges and battery life are awful
on December 13, 2021

Honestly I was so ready to love this phone (pixel 6 pro). I've had 3 previous pixels, and consider myself a pixel for life user. I was super excited for the camera, and it is great. However, the rounded edges make this phone impossible for me to use. The way that the screen content appears on the sides is SO distracting, and side by side, it's actually less screen than the pixel 6. Battery life is also terrible.I'm trading mine in for a pixel 6, and hope that future pro versions of the pixel phones don't come with the rounded edges, or I'll have to switch away from pixel for good.I'm pretty bummed that I have to downgrade to the lesser camera (and it's a huge difference for distance zoom) but I just can't get over how awful and distracting the rounded edges are.
