Nice printer/scanner/copier/fax with automatic document feeder.
Only dissappointment is that the fax menu on the printer control panel does not have a clear way to attempt to resend 'now' when have a failed transmission. Menu caused me to cancel send when trying to resend now. Using VOIP and faxing does not seem to be compatible. Not the printer's fault and you should verify with your VOIP that they are fax compatible. Many are not.
Has separate toner for each color as normal for color laser jets. Inital cost obvioulsy more than comparable ink jets, but we use the printer and especially color so infrequently that ink jet cartridges always dried and failed after having only printed a few pages over time. Laser jet printers do not have this issue, so long term is much less expensive.

Very concise and too the point - The HP 1415 is as good as any competitor's product that would cost twice as much (if not more) than the HP 1415.

what a great printer

I have had a lot of HP products over 30 years. Their business product have always been very dependable. For my home, I have had three "All-in-Ones" purchased from various sources. But this printer exceeds all of my expectations. It was so easy to install (including the wireless) and just the best quality print. The faxing, copying and scanning are really a breeze and the feeders are just what you want.
All in all, it is a great printer!

Impressed

The reviews I read told me that it was slow to print but it was not as slow as expected. Very easy to set up... AirPrint and ePrint features are awesome. The color might tend to be on the dark side but with a little adjusting I got it dialed in. The touch screen makes use a dream... I wish at all my printed had one. Good job HP. The web apps as fun and my kids love to coloring pages. Overall very good printed. Maybe wish it had two paper trays but for the price I'm very impressed.

Does not print on both sides

I could not believe that the double side print function will not work. Now I have to turn the pages every time I want to print front and back. My new business requires that I make lots of booklets. No feature all will have to me manual. I am thinking of returning this printer. It is very slow to print.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happy overall

I am very happy with this printer. Overall the printer is perfect for my home office. Setup was easy. I was disapointed that the toner that comes with the printer is only half full. Some of the color photos are too dark and I am having a problem seeing just how to make adjustments to lighten them. I really like the eprint feature.
