[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and kids just get a kick out of mechanical pencils vs. those that sharpen. I've always thought they were fussy and I'd break the lead in a second and not get the new lead to come out. These have improved from my grade school days. And I like the recycled packaging look. Good product!

Good tool for work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mechanical pencils are great for me and my job. Being a CNC machinist means doing some math and many sketches for fixtures. Having mechanical pencils means no sharpening and the Xtra life in this BIC Ecolution means less time spent looking for refills. This 12 pack is convenient and allows more of us at the shop to have the same pencils. Great size, fits in my hand like a solid pencil, and looks great too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a math teacher so I use pencils A LOT. I generally write pretty firm on the page and often have an issue with breakage, but with this particular pencil, I am not having that problem. The lead is write smooth and doesn't seem to smear. I definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils. They write smoothly, don't smudge, and the lead is the perfect thickness. I also love that the lead doesn't constantly break like some mechanical pencils. The fact that these are made from recycled plastic is the icing on the cake.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Bic Ecolutions mechanical pencils write well and is a great pencil for a great price. The ecolution comes from BIC using 65% recycled plastic in the pencils. I love the fact that they are environment friendly and will continue to buy them because of this feature!

Dark crisp lines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use mechanical pencils exclusively for art and I am always looking for a better pencil. I was rather surprised to find that this set has much darker and crisper lines than I am used to.
First off I love that the set is made with recycled materials. We need more green products at affordable prices on the world and this really fits with that. The pencils are made from 65% recycled materials and the package is 100% recycled. The pencils feel nice, good grip and the lead is sturdy. I don't break it quite as often. My kids can also use the pencils for school or drawing.
I tried some quick sketches and in was surprised at how nice and dark the lines were compared to even the same brand pencils in the same size. I haven't Bern able to go through a whole piece of lead yet so it does feel like it lasts longer than normal as it says in the box. The erasers don't smear, they erase well and my kids don't leave behind "ghosties" as they call them, or faint lines left behind that show through when fixing mistakes. Just clean erasing without damage to the paper.
Overall whether you use for art, school, work or just leaving notes the pencils really work well.

Attractive, Sturdy Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids like using mechanical pencils for school. These held up well and I liked that they are good for the environment. The only thing I would say is that the pocket clip is a rather cheap attachment which always seems likely to break but then generally does seem to last the distance. It is at best, acceptable, as a pocket clip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Bic extra life pencil as I knew I could trust the Bic brand. They didn't disapoint me. I prefer to use mechanical pencils and the lead was very dark. I my son also likes the different colors of the pencils as it makes it easy to find when you lay it down.
