[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Professional 5 Speed Hand Mixer has some positive and negative features. On the positive, it is lightweight, easy to use, easy to clean, trigger release makes removing attachments easy, and the convenient snap-on storage case makes storage easy.
As a frequent baker, the negatives outweighed the positives. The mixer is underpowered and the QuickBurst is barely detectable. In mixing a loaf cake batter in a large broad base bowl, the ingredients needed to be added a little at a time for the mixer to combine the ingredients adequately. In an attempt to combine the ingredients I used the QuickBurst, but the increase in mixing speed was barely detectable. I knew the QuickBurst was working because the motor sound increased slightly. At the end of mixing the batter, I reverted to mixing by hand so that I could be sure the ingredients were thoroughly mixed. I view a hand mixer as a time saving device, but because of the lack of power it took longer to make the cake batter with the mixer than it would take mixing by hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used this twice now and am VERY happy with it. It mixed a cake mix in no time and I used the whisk on some eggs and it performed GREAT!
I have the red mixer and it is beautiful! I love the color.
The storage container is nice to keep all beaters/whisk together so no more fumbling around to find them. Good time saver.
It has plenty of power and is a great upgrade from my old mixer.
Thanks for putting out a wonderful product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The look and design of this hand-mixer are appealing. I have owned Hamilton Beach mixers in the past and they seem to last. The style of the beaters look very thin, but so far have been holding up. The motor also does not seem to have a lot of power behind it, and has a “new motor” smell still after several uses. I like the snap-on storage case, but unfortunately doesn’t fit well. The quick release trigger is great for removing the beaters. I don’t love this hand-mixer, but it is not the worst I’ve had either. Hopefully the motor doesn’t burn out too quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. I love the additional attachments; especially the dough hooks. I would have given it 5 stars but I find taking it in or out of it’s case is a little difficult. It’s not as easy as it appears to slide in and out. I will admit that this might be a learning curve I have to accomplish. All in all itiis a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I recently moved into our new house and this is one item we actually didn't have that we found we needed/wanted because we went to do some baking and found that mixing stuff is harder than we thought. Now with this awesome 5 speed hand mixer, we are doing it with ease! It is so much faster and easier and with out lifestyle we could use all the help we could get! It's so easy to clean and it's so handy to have a case to put it in too! I love this product and would definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this mixer in that it is light and is not hard to hole on to. The beaters work well and the speed is just right. I tested them on several different types of things like mashed potatoes and it worked well. The only thing I found that didn't work well was the case that holds it while you are not using it. It does not stay on when you go to store it. But that would not keep me from buying this mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer is a gorgeous candy apple red! It looks lovely on my countertop. The beaters, whisk and dough hooks, as well as the cord are all sulf-contained in it's holder. This is a great feature for me as I have very little storage space.
The whisk is great. How convenient to whisk up some whipped cream quickly without having to drag out my heavy countertop mixer.
The speed variations are perfect for heavy batters as well as the most delicate creams and meringues.
I recommend this mixer to anyone as a lightweight, all purpose appliance that takes up almost no room in the cabinet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for 2 weeks. Outstanding performance. 3 sets of beaters, dough hooks, regular beater, and a whip beater. 5 speeds plus a quick burst button. And I love the storage container, holds all the beaters, and the mixer locks in on top.
Love this mixer. Does everything my big stand mixer does, but doesn’t take up counter space. Going to give the stand mixer away !
