My portable mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer helps me with prep work of a meal. It is so much easier to use this for small prep work than pull out a heavy standup mixer. It is easy to clean and takes up a lot less are than a standup mixer. I really enjoy using it. The device is pleasant to look at. I highly recommend it for kitchen. A Wonderful product.

Excellent Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer is great for home baking. The beaters are quite sturdy. It's quiet, but powerful enough to plow through thick cookie dough or brownie batter. The whisk did a great job with whipped cream and egg whites. Dough hooks, which I haven't used yet, are also included. The trigger release is a welcome feature (so much easier than a push button). The mixer is quiet and easy to store in the included storage case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It does the job but…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the hand mixer in red and love the color but not sure if there is anything I love about it, like yes.
It did well mixing pudding with what appears to be a flimsy whisk and it had the power to mix chocolate chip cookie dough, which is a plus.
As far as a hand mixer goes, it worked and did its job but I believe it has some design flaws.
Having to look at the underside to see the little pictures of which beater goes into which hole is inconvenient.
The cord coming out the back/bottom sometimes makes it hard to set it down on the counter without it falling over.
The boost button is a good idea if it really boosted the power alot but I didn't really notice much difference but then again I was mixing cookie dough. I believe the boost button is in a bad spot. I was mixing my chocolate chip cookie dough and needed a little bit more power but the button is on the top of the handle and in order to use it, I had to take my thumb (and my hold) off the the side of the handle and that's when I almost lost control of it since cookie dough is tough, when I took my thumb/hold off of the handle it almost pulled out of my hand.
I'm glad it comes with a utensil and/or cord holder and sits nicely on my counter and is small enough I just leave it on my counter all the time.

Such a pretty little mixer, but could be better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I unboxed my new Hamilton Beach Pro hand mixer and my first impression was that it is such a pretty color!
Everything was easy to clean in just some warm soapy water. All of the different beaters fit perfectly into the storage case and at first glance I thought the mixer would slide onto the case, but instead you have to snap it on. Snapping it on isn’t difficult, but removing the mixer from the case was kind of tricky and in my opinion this could have been better designed.
The mixer has 5 speeds and they are all pretty quiet, so I like that. There is an eject trigger under the handle that feels kind of flimsy, but it worked like it should. The beaters don’t look very heavy duty, so I’m not sure if they would do well for mixing cookie dough or any other thick dough.

The biggest downfall to this product is that I was able to run the mixer even if the beaters weren’t locked in. Not a great safety feature. Please make sure you hear the beaters click and lock into the mixer before turning it on.
Easy to use. Easy to clean. Looks pretty. Design and quality could be better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great looking mixer with all the power.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one terrific mixer. All the accessories fit into the self contained stand for easy storage and all the implements are in one place. Never again will I have to look for the lost beater. The motor never slows down, set a speed and it stays there, even while mixing bread dough. I won't be taking that heavy stand mixer out so often with this mixer. I love it.

Fantastic 5 Speed Hand Mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this hand mixer! The Hamilton Beach Professional 5 Speed Hand Mixer did not disappoint. First of all, I liked the appearance of it when I unboxed it--the red color was so much fun! And when I picked it up, I was impressed by the weight of it--it has weight to it, but not too heavy. It feels sturdy in your hand and the weight gives you control as your mixing. It came with a nice instruction booklet that clearly outlined the parts of the mixer in a helpful diagram and also outlined the 5 mixer speeds: stirring, mixing, beating, creaming, and whipping. There's also a 'burst button' that can be pressed during any setting for a burst of power. The mixer came with 2 beaters, 2 dough hooks, and a whisk. Also included was a clear storage container that the accesories sit down in and the mixer slides/clicks into place on top for storage when you're not using it. The first time I used this hand mixer was to beat cheesecake batter for a dessert recipe. It went very well! I mixed for 1 minute on low speed and 3 minutes on medium speed as instructed. This mixer worked very well and my batter was thick and fluffy as it should be. While using it, I especially liked the weight of the mixer (I felt in control) and the sound was suprising: This mixer was not loud and screechy as some mixers I've heard in the past have been. This mixer almost purred like a big cat! I thought, "Wow!" Cleanup was easy--I didn't have too much splatter on the mixer and just wiped it with a wet cloth and rinsed and placed the beaters in the dishwasher. Overall, I found this to be a fantastic hand mixer!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice hand mixer and storage

I like the storage case that comes with it. Easy to store the attachments and keep everything together. It’s easy to store but requires a little elbow grease to get the storage case off. Nice kitchen tool to have.
