I was hesitant to purchase wondering about the utility after the newness wore off. I use it mainly to see all my sensors and I use it all the time. I wish they had a few more widgets but they just opened the Elgato store on it and it’s added some cool things.

I was SO excited when this product was announced, and even MORE excited when it went on sale in Atomic Purple.
Since receiving it, I've barely used it. Not for lacking of wanting to - but because it lacks VESA mounting support and it will get knocked off my desk and destroyed by kids if I let it just sit there on a desk top. Instead, I've spent time since receiving it shopping for and returning numerous microphone arms and 1/4"-20 thread adapters, and designing and 3D printing my own adapter plate. I couldn't even use a standard A/V cheese plate to VESA adapter because the two holes on the back are slightly further apart than standard cheese plate spacing.
I love unique hardware and displays, but it seems like the hardware designers were bent on making it as difficult as possible to use this display like a real monitor, and given the premium price of a device like this (compared both to traditional displays and others of its size), that's truly unacceptable.
I will give Corsair points for putting the STEP files on Printables - this made it trivial to design and print an adapter, but that shouldn't have been necessary in the first place.
USB-C is nice when a single video/data cable is compatible with your GPU (VirtualLink was cool but never took off), but I would have preferred a USB-B input for use with HDMI - that combination is far more standard with external touch displays.
Despite these issues, I do hope this device gets a second generation that corrects the mistakes of the first - if it weren't for mounting issues, this probably would have been 5/5, but Corsair forgot to meet users where they actually work, and instead expected them to redo their workspaces to accommodate a non-standard design.

my bad for buying this. i thought it had more functionality with widgets and such. It's just a tiny touch screen. kinda worthless to be honest. but no false advertising so I can't fault corsair, i should have done my homework a bit better and realized it doesn't do anything other than being a tiny oddly shaped touch screen.

Was looking around for a small streamdeck style screen and came across this. Wasn't overly sure about it but gave it a go and it's exactly what I was looking for and more. Not only can I control streams from it now, but I have chat on there which although small it does mean I'm not constantly turning my head as my monitor as too the side of me. A quick hotket set up allows me to switch from icue to desktop so when recording pc games, OBS can happily sit on it while the game is on the main monitor. Extremely happy with this purchase. It was also easily set up, and even better when I discovered my pc actually has a usb-c port hidden away on the back!
