[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the fold 4 so this is a major upgrade for me. The speakers, the display, and battery life is by far battery. The AI FEATURES ARE GREAT ALSO
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start of by making it clear that I use my buds 3 pro to their limit. I'm constantly on the train or the bus and these are very loud environments.
I use to use over the ear noise cancelling headphones as they do a good job, but I wanted something more portable that I can throw in my pocket and go. Then I saw that the buds 3 pro were coming out and they had Galaxy AI that could make distinctions between what could be important in the environment and what should be cancelled out. Clearly, I bought a pair and have had them for about a week now. I was one of the lucky ones to get them before their shopping was delayed.
I have had no quality control issues and I did opt to switch out the standard ear pieces for the small ones include LD in the box. Sound quality is good and can be made better with the EQ. I find myself using the 360 audio options on certain media, although I don't use it as often as I thought I would. The only negative that I have noticed if that the buds amplify the hydraulic "hiss" of the bus doors opening, which can be really loud if you have your volume up. On that note, I have not had the need to push the volume past 60%, even in really loud environments. The buds do a great job at noise cancelling.
The buds are usually in my ears for about an hour and a half straight and it's followed by a little discomfort at the end, but nothing too major. I've been told that the microphones are good, including when I'm on the bus.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality on these are top notch, even compared to my buds 2 pro I upgraded from. The noise cancelation is almost unbelievable. The new way to use the earbud controls did take me a few minutes to get used to, but the tutorial helped me with the learning curve. You can definitely tell the difference in the sound quality with the Galaxy AI putting in the work to tailor the sound to the environment around you and how the buds fit in your ear, even just the sound test passes better than my old buds 2 pro used to. I don't regret upgrading and trading in my old ones, the design is so futuristic and I love the LED stripes on the sides as well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried about the fit, but I shouldn't have been. I upgraded from the buds2pro and I am pleasantly surprised that these are more comfortable for long rounds of conference calls. I like the carrying case and clip so I can locate my buds more quickly to take those unexpected calls and eliminate fishing them out of the bottom of my bag.
I own the airpods pro 2 and just bought the Galaxy Buds3 pro. The Buds 3 work well with my Galaxy watch 7 ultra, S8+ and the Samsung Fold 5. The sound is tuned by the app to my ears and sounds a little better in a quiet environment then the Airpods pro 2. The cons are the noise cancelling is not comparable the Airpods. In my noisy diesel Sprinter van they are next to useless. Mowing the lawn, working in the welding shop or any other noisy environment I only use the Airpods pro 2. I use the Buds3 for running and any other situation that powerful noise canceling is not required. That said I am keeping them and have not had any problems with the ear tips or fit and finish. They are very comfortable and fit perfectly in my ear.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Samsung buds but I have the hardest time getting anything to stay secure in my ear. The Buds 3 stay in better but they are not quite yet utopia. The Galaxy AI is pretty cool in how it managed noise cancellation, nice improvement there too.
