[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This adorable Chelsea mermaid friend is such a great addition to our mermaid Barbie friends. She is beautiful with a mixture of pink/purple hair and tail to match. My daughter had so much fun playing with this Barbie in the tub as well as her Barbie dream house! Definitely a wonderful addition to any Barbie collection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Chelsea Mermaid is a Great Addition to our Barbies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my 6 year old daughter this Chelsea mermaid doll to go with her larger Barbie mermaid. She loves playing "family" and she was excited to add this little mermaid into her games. We haven't taken it swimming yet, but the doll has been in the shower numerous times already. There is no sign of water getting inside, which is a chief concern when it comes to toys in the bath. The doll's hair is nice and soft, even after going in the water and probably having been shampooed. haha
The package was easy to open. The doll's tail isn't attached when you buy it, and I assume that's bc the packaging can be made smaller that way. I appreciate that. The tail is easy to put on and it holds strong.
I would definitely buy more of these for any mermaid and/or Barbie-loving children that I know.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves these adorable Chelsea dolls, and she loves this mermaid and colorway. She likes the bolder color and glittery accents. The doll's hair was her favorite. It makes a perfect little sister for her Barbie mermaid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This barbie is a wonderful addition to have in the toybox. My daughter loves playing under the sea with her barbies, and this one allows her imagination to soar. The mermaid tail is so intricate and the purple hair just adds to the imaginary playtime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently added the Barbie Chelsea Mermaid doll to our playtime lineup, and it’s quickly become one of my daughter’s favorite toys!
Right from the moment we opened the box, this little mermaid doll made a splash. The packaging is colorful and fun, and the doll itself looks even better in person than in photos. At about 6 inches tall, she’s perfectly sized for small hands — not too big, not too small.
The vibrant pink hair really stands out and adds a playful, magical touch. The hair is soft enough for kids to style, and the removable hair accessory lets them customize her look even more. Chelsea’s mermaid tail is sparkly and detailed, making her feel like she’s just come out of an underwater fairytale.
My daughter loves pretending Chelsea swims through coral reefs, meets sea friends, and goes on ocean adventures. The size makes her great for imaginative play both at home and on the go — she fits into dollhouses, baskets, backpacks, and even makes a cute bath toy (though I keep her out of water just to protect her hair). Chelsea’s arms make it easy for her to “interact” with other toys and accessories too.
For a small doll, she feels surprisingly sturdy. The paint and hair color haven’t faded after regular play, and the removable accessory hasn’t snapped or stretched even after many styling sessions.
