For younger teens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice looking bike, except I felt it was made for kids. As an adult I found it hard to actually appreciate this ebike. The tires are very small and it made for a bumpy ride, the speed was decent. I did appreciate the lights for visibility. The seat was comfortable. The handle bars fold down for storage. This bike would be suitable for young teens, not so much adults.

Not so fast.

When I went to adjust the seat height the paint on the seat post peeled right off. Looks terrible. No way to turn off the lights which robs the battery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Schwinn Tornado Compact Electric Bike is a solid and enjoyable choice for casual riders. The bike comes with clear, easy-to-follow instructions, and assembly was quick and hassle-free. After charging the battery, I took it for a ride and was initially surprised by its compact size—though it’s small, it’s noticeably heavy. Despite the weight, it's easy to maneuver and navigate through the neighborhood. The ride itself was smooth and fun, and the bike can go really fast, so I advise taking it slow at first and making sure you’re comfortable reaching the brakes. One drawback is the seat, which I found uncomfortable; I strongly recommend purchasing a seat cushion for longer rides. Once I got the hang of it, I was able to ride nonstop for 15 minutes, enjoying a relaxing exploration of the neighborhood. Overall, it’s a reliable and convenient electric bike that I would recommend for anyone looking to spend more time outdoors.

Great and fun E-bike!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cool thing to be able to get and test out! My husband had been talking about getting an electric scooter or bike for so long and now we have one! When the package got delivered it came in a very large box, which showed what was inside, so I definitely wouldn’t let it sit outside long once delivered. However, when we opened it up, it was easy to set up. My husband had it all ready to ride within about a half hour or so, but it says to charge before first use so we put it on the charger. Once it was charged, it was already dark so it was a perfect time to test out the lights on it! My husband did probably 5 miles on his first test run that night, within about 20 minutes. He said it is so much fun and the lights work really well. It was easy to learn how to use and makes for a smooth ride. The only thing he said was that when you’re just using as a “regular bike” it isn’t as great since there’s no gears or anything like that. However, he said it doesn’t matter because the electric portion of it makes it so much fun. It breaks down a little smaller so it’s able to go in the back of our cars to transport and use other places as well. He’s already used it several times since receiving and will definitely continue to use it often.

Awesome and Smooth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tornado Compact Electric Bike is first of all my kids' new favorite. It's really nice and small, lightweight, and portable, which is perfect for trips around the block and shorter trips around a suburban and urban area.
Some things I really like about the bike are as follows:
~ It's portable and compact. You can fold it for easy storage.
~ Rechargeable battery, and it charges pretty quick for the most part thus far.
~ Eco-Friendly transportation!
~ Running short errands and riding around١ 1 the city or block, etc.
~ Easy to control

When we received the bike, it was already 2 bars charged, and it charged pretty quickly to fully.
It says 6 hours to fully charge, which is not bad at all.

Family fun electric bike

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bike is epic! I had never ridden an electric bike before and let me tell you it’s so fun! You are able to pedal and brake as you normally would but the gear in the handle easily rotates to gas the bike. The battery charges fairly quickly and has good duration. It rides so smoothly over bumps and terrain. It rides up steep hills with ease and if you give it a little extra it really kicks in and takes off. Great speed. The seat is super comfortable. It is definitely more suitable for people on the shorter spectrum of the range they give. My husband is able to fit on it but it is a bit more challenging as his legs are a bit crowded and he looks massive on it. It is nice being a compact bike. Doesn’t take up much space at all and assembly was not too difficult. This would be great for camping trips, sightseeing and is fun for the whole family. This is an awesome bike and I foresee it getting a ton of use in my household.
