Selected port type will immediately fold back in to the device if there is any resistance from the outlet when attempting to insert into an outlet. Attempting to hold the slide in place while inserting into the outlet is painful and sometimes the only way to even get the outlet partially inserted. If I could rate this with negative stars, I would.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recently had to travel to Europe for work and vacation. I decided to upgrade from an old adapter that only had USB-A ports to this adapter. it worked flawlessly and with the USB-A and 2 USB-C adapters it allowed me to just bring my cords.
