I had put off buying this set for many months. It looked to be very large and might be difficult to display. But the base is not too expansive, and I only needed to find the vertical space for it. I put it on the top shelf over my desk, and I can't stop looking at it. It was a fun build. As some others have said, the launch tower is a little repetitive, but that just made each additional level a bit faster to construct. Once the tower was finished and I started building the rocket, it went much faster. The final assembly is beautiful and quite sturdy. I used the Lego Builder app to construct the base and tower, but found the app to not be very helpful, as it only shows scans of the physical instruction book and not the usual 3D pictures, which means no ability to rotate views.
My primary issue is with the stickers. There are plenty of printed pieces in the set, and a few more would have made it more enjoyable. In particular, the Nasa "worm" logos look bad due to the irregular spacing of the letters, which printed pieces would have addressed.
But overall I am giving this set 5 stars. I'm glad I decided to purchase it before it retires.

This is a wonderful space oriented and rocketry build. It takes time and patients as the are a lot of repetitive steps when assembling the tower. I ever added a few tower pieces to add to its authentic realism.

I loved this set! It has great attention to detail and very good features! I love them scale and just how big the set is! I was lucky enough to see the Artemis II launch so this set reminded me a lot of when I saw that! The value is almost all there, I wish that there were micro astronaut figure included and less stickers but otherwise I love this set and it fits in my collection perfectly! Well done Lego!

Not a Space Kit. It's a Scaffolding Kit

This kit isn't a good experience. I love space. NASA was one of my favorite places to visit when I was younger, but this kit is all scaffolding and the base. Thousands of grey bricks over and over again in the most mundane way possible. I don't recommend it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
