My family and I have used this type of composition book for years. My youngest son is particularly fond of this type of composition book. I first saw this type of compostion book when I was in elementary school which is forty years ago. I did not own one myself but I think the teacher had one or something very similar. It really caught my attention because of its unique appearance and size. I may have first use this type of composition book while I was in high school. I have found it very useful since then.

I would not give this as a gift because it is a notebook that you write in. I may give it to my nieces and nephews to assist them in school or to get organized The family gets a lot of use out of it grocery lists lists in general
