We've all used these in high school and college. My wife uses them for all kinds of conference notes journals etc. So we go through a lot of them. At back to school time. Staples has the best price on these so we stock up!

the "everything" notebook

The Staples Composition Notebook is the perfect notebook for every need. From school work to journaling...anything! My daughter loves to write so it is perfect for a 10 year old and her every need. As for me i use the Staples Composition Notebook for each of my 3 businesses. The color coded outside and compact size make it perfect for notetaking and quick identification for what business is at hand. I would think with families of many children each color could be assigned to a child...again everyone knows which one is their person notebook by color!

Excellent for the kids
on July 16, 2014

This was a necessary purchase for the kids for school. The books will definitely work sell for them for first grade. Had to order twenty of them as the school is requesting that both of my children have seven of them each for school this coming school-year. I think my twin daughters may have preferred some of the books be in different colors but for the price that these were on sale for when I purchased them they will have to be happy with these. The books seem to be sturdy enough to get through the rigors of a school year.

Great Price - Great Quality
on July 16, 2014

These are the kind of values that keep me coming back to Staples. GREAT price good quality. We purchased these to donate for school children and what a convenient way to maximize the amount to donate. We also appreciate the clear cut sale promotion. No fine print no exceptions no out of merchandise. This goes a long way to say that the value that is presented in the advertisement is available and without extra costs. On this recent trip we took advantage of all the blow out pricing items and purchased the required minimum purchase and all to benefit the charity that we will donate the items too. Thank you Staples for being there to help us with this.

I buy as many purple composition books as I can each year for my second grade class journals. They actually hold up to everything a second grader can do to a book. :-0
