I use this notebook for my college classes. It is compact enough to store inside a three ring binder. The page thickness allows me to write on both sides of the paper. I do not have to worry about sheets ripping out because the binding keeps them securely in the book. I prefer this binding over the spiral notebook because I always "catch" the wire of the spiral on things. I can combine the notebook with post it flags in order to label sections or I can leave the pages unmarked if it is my choice. I also like the fact that it is wide ruled it allows me plenty of space for writing.

We use these booklets to keep track of our daily records as far as incoming cash or checks and they seem to work well for that purpose.
