As a teacher I love to use these composition books for writing journals. There are no spirals to catch on things in the students' desks so they are much neater and cleaner than regular spiral notebooks.
I have purchased the composition books for many years and they always fulfilled my needs. I use them at home for composing letters recipes and general purpose notes. My husband uses them for his business to keep project data and information separate and complete. The color coding of the tablets help organize my work easily and efficiently. Because of the recent clearance price I purchased them for our grandkids who are in preschool. They are colorful wide rule and with their favorite Disney characters.
These are handy lightweight and highly portable. I usually collage the covers so each one is different. It seems rather silly that if you buy any color other than black you must pay more. I consider that a marketing gimmick and don't fall for it. Other than that I like these for curriculum planning and classroom notes but they aren't archival quality so I wouldn't keep a personal journal in them or use them for any purpose that benefits from long-term storage. I prefer the wide ruled to college ruled but it is nice to have choices.
I bought these for my 3 year old niece and 2 year old nephew. They love them. They are great for them to practice their writing and the 3 year old loves the atlas in the book. She's learning her continents so the atlas comes in handy.
