I purchased this notebook to put in a travel kit for my great grand kids to keep them busy while on the road. There are no coils or metal parts and quite safe for little people to "write" or color in. I would consider this quite a safe purchase.

We really liked this notebook. The price was great but compared to another notebook we bought this one had more pages and had much better quality paper and the printed lines were better quality too. Everything felt much better about this notebook and we will definitely buy this brand in the future.
