Many of the 'composition notebook' products have a single sewn binding. This product is perfect-bound. Depending on your use case that may be a plus or a minus. It was not obvious to me that this product was not sewn and I probably would have made a different choice if I had known. In all other respects this product completely meets my expectations and is as described.
