Great price! Can't get any better than a penny. I would have liked to get the same product in college ruled for the same price. I loved the variety of colors.

Functional and Satisfactory!!

Great value for the product after all functionality is important even if there were no frills like different colors to choose from. The stiff cardboard cover is just as good as the plastic covered ones and these are certainly more economical. I wish they would not limit the number per customer to so few. I have been using these for years and never had any issues with them. Staff at Staples are always competent and friendly the store I use is always well stocked and sufficiently staffed.

Coloful combinations

Staples sold these as a promotion item. If you spent at least five bucks you could purchase up to six notebooks for up to a penny each. For me this was a bargain. I could easily spend $ five dollars in a Staples store so "that was easy." After buying some erasable pens a plastic tote bag and a few cards on clearance I had my minimum purchase. Then it was all about picking the notebooks in a variety of colors. Blue orange black pink red purple... take your pick! This was a good promotion!

Notebook paper

Great notebook for back to school as my kids need at least one notebook for each class. Also the multiple color options are helpful with organizing for each class binders etc. and there are bright colors for girls and darker colors for boys - which believe it or not is important for boys just as much as girls.

A classic notebook with nice clean pages and clear lines. Could work well for taking class notes or for simply having paper handy when kids want to draw.

Staples® 1 Subject Notebook 8" x 10-1/2

These notebooks are great for notetaking either in my college courses or for business conferences / training sessions. I like these better than a folder notebook because with the spiral I can fold one side back.
