These notebooks are great for the price

These notebooks are great for the price! I buy a ton of them and use them up regularly. I keep one for expenses one for phone calls one for other financials etc. The cover is fine lasts as long as the pages do. By the time the pages are used up for me the cover is starting to tear and wear. I wouldn't buy these expecting them to last forever but for the incredibly cheap price they are just right for my uses. less than a dollar each or I wouldn't buy them I would buy one with more pages. Worth it to me!

I love Staples but honestly I usually do not purchase the "Staples" brand notebooks for my kids. I go with another brand whose price point is higher. My son needed additional notebooks but since its already the end of March and he's almost done with the school year I did not want to spend the money on my usual brand and instead purchased the Staples brand notebook. The overall quality of the notebook is cheaper...the paper is thin and its just a cheaper notebook. The cover is already falling off and its only been 7 days. I would never purchase this notebook again.

How cheap can you go? Apparently too far

I've been using Staples brand notebooks for years. After my most recent purchase I'm shaking my head You've found three ways to reduce the quality of this everyday product: smaller pages fewer pages and thinner paper. What's left to cut? may leave a big holes in every other sheets? or maybe replace half the metal spiral with string? Can't you just leave well enough alone... and continue to deliver a good quality office product?

I bought this for a friend. I had looked around before purchasing at Staples. Staples had the lowest price for the same product elsewhere. I personally shop at Staples often for my business. I shop both in the store and online. I have been very pleased with most of the products I purchase. I had an issue with one item. It was not what I expected. I was credited the full purchase price including shipping. The rewards are great because I can expand my spending just for buying items I need anyway. I also make use of the credits I receive for returning my ink cartridges.

My children utilize these notebooks for school. They are also easily stored in the car for doodling and kid entertainment. Very convenient.
