Good cookware far from perfect

Was excited to get my scratch defense cookware with no problems in shipping. Set looks beautiful! Especially like that metal utensils can be used with it. However, I was not pleased to read in the instructions that if cookware is exposed to high heat or if in cooking the pans are allowed to go dry, severe damage like in the cookware coming totally apart on the bottom will happen! I recently left the gas burner on after frying a sandwich using my T-Fal frying pan. Didn’t notice flame was still on for over 15 minutes! Pan was super hot but showed no signs of any damage. Evidently if this had happened with the scratch defense cookware, I would have to throw the pan away. I don’t want to be cooking and have the pan come apart right on the stove with food in it. If you buy this set be aware of this potential disaster!

Great pan!

We have been using this pans for about a month now. I was skeptical of the texture, but I is our go to fry pan now. Can’t believe how nice it is. It heats evenly and the non stick coating is durable. Looking forward to many years with this pan.
