So Fast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never owned an electric kettle before and I wasn't sure how much I would like one. I have only had this Hamilton Beach 1.7 Liter Kettle for just over a week and I love it! I use it daily and I am ready to retire my old stovetop kettle. I did a side by side test with equal amounts of water between this electric kettle and my old kettle on my gas stove and this kettle was significantly faster. The amount of water is easily viewed through the water level window and the separate base makes the kettle cord-free when pouring. A nice feature is the cute blue LED light ring which lights up when the power is on and the water is being heated. When the water has boiled the blue light turns off and the auto shutoff turns the kettle off and you are ready to pour! There is also a handy cord wrap under the power base.

Old fashioned but effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heats your water fast and effective temperature. Simple to use and much preferred this over microwave and stove heating of water. Takes little space on your counter. My only wish list for this great product is to have temperature control on unit. The water can get quite hot after first heating. But I do recommend highly.

It boils water much faster than the conventional stovetop pan method, so it's useful for cooking pasta as well as for tea and coffee making. It is super easy to clean. The window is handy to ensure I am not adding more water than needed. It has auto-shutoff, so it's impossible to forget to turn it off

A must if you love hot beverages!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I needed an electric kettle. Why bother with an extra appliance when a stovetop kettle works fine? I was so wrong! This kettle is super convenient and easy to use. It holds almost double the amount of water as my stovetop kettle does, but it's very lightweight. It boils water quickly, and the water stays hot for quite a while in the kettle. It also looks really nice on the countertop, I love the blue indicator light when it's running. My only suggestion for improvement is that I wish the base had a retractable power cord.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electric kettle is a quick way to boil water, much faster than in a kettle on the stoverop. I use this not only to make tea and hot chocolate, but anytime a recipe calls for boiling water; it's a great time saver. I leave it out on the counter so its ready whenever I need it and saves cleanup time.

Everything i expected it to be, heats up fast and amazingly just saw a video about boiling eggs in one and it worked perfectly! Love all of my Hamilton Beach products! Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really loving this kettle! It hits up within a few minutes and the water stays hot for quite a while. The stainless steel is so attractive, inside and out. I've seen glass kettles, but the stainless steel looks nicer. I am going to keep it out on the counter instead of putting it away.
I like the blue light ring at the bottom but it can be shut off. The window that shows the fill level is easy to read. The handle is sturdy and feels secure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Large capacity that efficiently heats your water. Easy to use. Nice design and easy to clean. One touch on and off and also shuts off automatically when the water has reached the boiling point. LED let's you know that the unit is on. I like the fact the the kettle sits on the electrical base. You don't need to worry about a tangled cord because you remove the kettle from the base to pour.
