Pretty great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I seriously love all things that make my life easier and this kettle definitely does. It's super easy to use. A button opens and closes the lid. There is a clear fill line on the outside to see how much water to add. Fill it with water and then switch it on. It comes to a boil pretty quickly and then automatically shuts off. I love that it keeps the water hot for hours, so even if I forget to make tea after boiling the water, I can come back an hour later and the water is still pretty hot. There is an extra little filter piece that is supposed to help prevent the buildup of scale on the inside of the kettle. I'm not sure how it works but so far after a month I see no scale. I also like how sleek it looks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my coffee maker, its capacity to boil 1.7 liters of water is good, apart from the fact that it has an automatic shut-off, it boils 20 percent faster than a microwave oven and its LED light ring is elegant and functional and practical to use. Removable mesh filter helps prevent mineral scale from getting in your cup

Great Kettle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very nice and sturdy kettle. The kettle heats up really quick. The base feels a little weak but works just fine. It would be nice to have a retractable and a little longer cord. I like the water level view window so that you can keep track of how much water is still in the kettle. I also like the design of the body.

Hot Water at the Touch of a Button

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy with the Hamilton Beach Stainless Steele 1.7 Liter Kettle. I was able to fill the water and it was heated very quickly. The water in the unit actually gets to a slow boil, which makes the water hot enough for oatmeal, soups, tea and instant coffee. There is a filter on the inside of the pot near the spout which further filters the water before you use it. The kettle itself looks great, and the blue power ring that surrounds the pot makes it for an attractive item in your kitchen.
Just an additional note, if you you run the water through a second heating, it will come to a full boil in the pot.

Very quick and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The electric tea kettle is very easy to set up and use. It was ready to use in under 10 minutes including washing time. It heats the water very quickly and looks great on the counter the only reason I cannot give it 5 stars is that it is very loud. Otherwise I would recommend it to everyone . It also takes up very little space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product and was excited to try it out, and put it through it's paces. Thinking of what could be done with boiled water which was done in less then 8 min . First thought make Mac & cheese big fail, your noodles won't get hot enough pouring the water in a sauce pan and letting stand with it covered..Number 2 test was a huge success chowmein or ramen noodles cooked in container or in a glass measuring cup covered with a plate same size as cup works really well .Number 3 pour over tea bag in cup and let steep to preferred flavor I was able to make 3 cups of tea using same tea bag & it still tasted good . Last was the light straight out of space very cosmic and let's you know your water is heating . This will work great in winter no more microwave tea and plenty hot water to go around .Enjoy!

Quick cup of tea!!

You only need to plug it in fill with water and push the button down on the back
I like the led ring it lets me know it’s on and heating up. It’s very fast. I wish it had a chime letting me know it’s done but it does click. I think every one will like the ease of use!!

Great Kettle for Quickly Boiling Water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Stainless Steel 1.7 Liter Kettle with LED Light Ring is easy to use and quickly boils water. Simply use the water window to add the desired amount of water. Place the kettle on the base. Press down on the power switch. The LED light ring will illuminate while the kettle is on. You will hear the water as it is heating. When the water comes to a boil, the kettle will automatically shut off. The kettle also has a removeable mesh filter at the spout to filter out mineral scale.
The instructions that come with the kettle clearly indicate how to use and maintain the kettle. The instructions indicate that parts are available on the Hamilton Beach website. Given that we have hard water, I thought I would buy a spare filter. Unfortunately, after looking on the website, there are no spare parts listed for this model. Also, it would be helpful if the instructions indicated part numbers, especially if parts fit different models. Hard water will cause spots and the instructions provide two methods to remove the spots.
The heating unit base is light weight. Without the kettle on the base, it may not lay flat on the counter. On the bottom of the base the cord can be wrapped for better storage.
