Had our first electric kettle for over 20 years. I has seved us well. I was used 2 to 3 times daily. Still works, but is was time to replace.

Great little tea kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had been heating up water on our electric stove for many years before deciding that it would be more efficient to get a kettle for heating up water for tea. This Hamilton Beach kettle works great. Heats up water really fast. Do need to be careful and not touch the exterior body of the kettle when using it as it gets really hot.

The kettle looks stylish, love the LED running lights, however already the inside is starting to rust. The plastic handle does not seem to be the sturdiest.

Amazing Kettle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Stainless Steel Kettle has proven to be a must have for me in my kitchen. This kettle has helped me tremendously in my home canning for when I need hot water to cover my produce that will be going into the pressure canner. I am not having to wait around for a kettle to boil on the stove or heating water in the microwave.
The kettle has a LED blue light ring that will light when on. The kettle also has automation shutoff and boil dry protection this will give you peace of mind in case you should forget. The kettle has a clear window to view your water level. I love the cord free design just lift the kettle from the base and pour. No dragging the base and cord.

-Fast boiling (1500 watts)
-Detach from Base to Serve
-Cord wraps around base for easy storage
-Beautiful Design

Not only does this stylish kettle help with my home canning but it is great for making iced tea, instant oatmeal and hot chocolate. The kettle is great for when you need hot water for cleaning. Overall, I do recommend. This would also make a great gift.

Convenient light-weight electric kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stainless steel and black colored lightweight kettle great for brewing water for tea or coffee. I use in my kitchen and stands on a round eletric base which you connect to an outlet source. A neon blue light turns on around bottom of the kettle when you switch the clear lever on bottom right towards floor. I timed it and it takes about 2 minutes to boil at first after which the light turns off and the lever goes up while you hear a click sound indicating its off and ready to pour. Once water is hot the second time around it re-heats for about 10 seconds. My only downside is the size. I wish it were 1 liter as its size takes space on the counter. I wish it had a space to coil the cord so it wont dangle when done. Overall, am happy with this product as it is convenient to use for several amount of servings when entertaining a group or for just an individual cup of coffee or tea.
