2025 is our year of health, for my husband and I, so I’m prepping and got this ring and glucose monitor to help monitor our sleep, stress and reaction to food. We got two rings. It was recommended by a health blogger and saw some good reviews so decided to try. Firstly, I do not like the material quality. It was scratched up within in a first few hours and washing dishes once. You are supposed to be able to use it for showers, dishes, etc. in anticipation of it, I bought the silver one thinking scratches would show up less and they don’t. Secondly the quality of data. On nights that my daughter crawled with me, I was kicked like 20-30 times and woke up from it… it doesn’t show it and my quality of sleep was low because I was frustrated at night and tired in the morning, so that would increase my stress and guess what? It doesn’t show. On my work day the data seemed ok, I was stressed even if I didn’t feel it, but then my day off data is also stressed and doesn’t compare to a similar day. My husband doesn’t even work and he shows up stressed and not recovered. We both have a bad heart apparently 🤣 so basically I feel like I bought two rings for nothing because I don’t even trust the data. Wish I could return. It’s been about 10 days of use and not happy. It’s kinda a fun toy to compare notes with husband but that’s about it. Very overpriced toy.
I’ve only had it for a day but so far it works well and the app seems pretty straight forward. I do think for the price they could make the material look a bit better it looks pretty cheap, and I do wish they had a thinner band as I find it pretty thick. It’s fairly comfortable to wear though so we will see
So far this ring has met my expectations. I previously had a Fitbit which was great. I just don’t like wearing a watch. I do however like the stats which keep me on track. Easy to wear and looks great.
Over all great! My only wish is that it wouldn’t scratch so easily. Even being super careful and removing it to do dishes it’s gotten quite scratched on the bottom side.
