Product is fantastic, helps me with sleep and tracking fertility (synced with natural cycles). However the ring has limitations, for example my recovery score is fair “pay attention” after ovulation due to raised body temperature which is to be expected after ovulation and a healthy sign of strong fertility. The ring is quiet bad to pick up on my workout intensity as well such as Pilates. Then again I use it mainly for sleep and fertility tracking so I am very happy and recommend to everyone. Getting family one as well.
Ring itself was nice but don’t think they should charge for us to view our own data. If Oura would rethink that decision, I might consider getting another, although to be fair, the data wasn’t that insightful and didn’t offer great suggestions on how to change things. Also, the lack of half sizes is a problem. I was constantly moving my ring around on my hands to find the best finger and that felt awfully fidgety.
Too bad I ordered the wrong size (must have measured using your band sizer when I was dehydrated or something). I was following your suggestion for a tight fit and that particular day I was able to get it on my pointer - never again with the actual ring -and a real challenge with my middle finger. As a result, the only finger that it fits is my ring finger on my left hand.....my husband is unhappy that I have been wearing the Ouro instead of my wedding banks. It was interesting to wear for a month, but two days ago, I just took it off and put it in a drawer. Not worth the money.
A few other comments: 1. OK for sleep monitoring, but I still don't understand what some of the things mean and/or what to do about them. 2. Readiness is confusing - e.g. what is activity balance and how does the ring measure "recovery", which appears to only really get picked up if one takes a nap??? 3. Activity seems all messed up even when connected to Apple and/or Strava. It asks to confirm activities, sometimes not until the next day, so not sure you factor that in anything.
