Good value food processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall its a good value food processor. The plastic does feel a little cheap but i guess that helps make it light weight and not as heavy as some other food processors ive had. Its a good versatile size, different functions. We like the cheese grater alot, its easy and fast to use. The bowl scraping feature, we only used when making date brownies, it worked alright not something id define as a need.

All you need and nothing more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food processor is everything you need and nothing more. This is a basic food processor that has maximum use with a minimal footprint. There are only 3 power options: Speeds 1 and 2 and pulse.
I thought the bowl scraper was a little gimmicky, but turns out it's excellent! I made a goopy cream cheese dessert, and the scraper did a great job of clearing the sides. I love the suction cups on the bottom of the unit so it doesn't slide during use.
The unit assembles easily - the lid locks smoothly into place. I am a little curious about the sturdiness of the bowl scraper and the power select button - they seem fragile compared to the rest of the unit which seems solid.
Overall, a great processor that doesn't take up too much room and is a great convenience.

Food Scraper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has a large capacity (10 cups) and a like the bowl scraper more than I thought I would. Even though the handle doesn't go all the way around (the chute is in the way) the "blades" of the bowl scraper do go 360 around the whole bowl. Super convenient. Comes with 2 different blades (which lets you get a variety of different cuts) and it is super easy to put together right out of the box. Pretty easy to clean by hand, but also dishwasher safe! So that makes it easier.

Great Addition to a Cook's Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already had a Hamilton Beach processor for years but coveted one with a scraper. I thought it would keep me from having to open the top and scrape down the sides with a spatula. I unpacked my new Hamilton Beach 10-Cup Food Processor with Bowl Scraper from its ample packaging. The base is a bit taller than my old processor, but round instead of square. The bowl, blender blade, and metal slicer plate are all unchanged from the original.
The first thing I noticed was that I couldn’t store the multiple parts compactly. I immediately read the manual. According to the instructions I was supposed to set that sharp slicer on top of the blender with the totally harmless plastic scraper stored inside. The mechanism that controls the scraper arms prevented me from storing the extremely sharp, metal slicer plate inside the blender like I did with my previous model. REALLY?? I ended up keeping the slicer inside and stacking the scraper upside down on top of the blender. Ridiculous!
I used the machine for the first time to make my buttermilk biscuit dough. I was so excited to dump all the ingredients into the bowl with the blender blade and new scraper. I locked the lid and turned it on. I noted that it is a bit quieter than my old blender. The dough started to come together nicely but there was quite a bit of flour hanging out at the top of the mixture, so I turned the scraper back and forth only to find the scraper arms don’t reach all the way to the bottom of the sides of the bowl! I was stunned! What good are scraper arms on the side of the container that don’t reach all the way down? Needless to say, I was beyond disappointed. Who designed this thing? Definitely not someone who cooks.
Long story, short: The food processor is a strong and faithful addition to any kitchen. However, I would not suggest going out and buying this model if all you want is the scraper arm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently took out my Hamilton Beach Bowl Scraper Food Processor. It's mid-week and haven't had a meal made from scratch and decided, tonight is the night, to pause my busy schedule , relax and have a home cooked meal for dinner. Decided to keep meal simple . Breezed right thru prep time, short and sweet. With the scraper bowl design, good choice for small or large meals.

Does lots of tasks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This powerful food processor with bowl scraper can do it all. So far I grated carrots and shredded cheese. I was able to shred a 1.5 lb block of cheese in less than 30 seconds. My only complaint is that it does not stack up well for storage while not in use. The manual shows that it does but when you add the shred/grate blade attachment it is not stable.

Really love this food processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying the ease and simplicity of this food processor that has chopped and minced perfectly everything I have thrown in it. Perfect pico de Gallo, perfect salad bits, even guacamole that the machine perfectly blends with the spatula so I barely lift a finger to do anything other than press a button or two. Love that it also shreds cabbage without making it mush so my slaws are turning out spectacular and not something like sludge, bonus points! Can,t ask for a better processor, this is puree perfection and so easy to clean as well.

Great addition to my kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very pleased with this product. I’ve used it on several occasions now and it is very versatile. My first trial was chopping chocolate chips and pecans to use as coating for protein balls. I was surprised at how quickly it chopped them to the consistency I needed with just using the pulse side of the control. Next I used it to chop cooked frozen cauliflower. My recipe for mashed cauliflower added cream cheese, butter, and spices. The consistency was perfect again a fairly short time on level 1. Another recipe was for carrot cake Keto balls. I grated the carrots first. Since I was using finger carrots they didn’t stand up too well in the chute but I found that if I let it run a little longer after they had finished in the chute they would be grated further just by spinning inside the lid. I like the two finger holes in the slicer/grater which makes it easy to grab. Then I added the ingredients in the bowl. The mixture was combined very quickly with a new pulses. The motor seems very powerful and the design for locking the lid in place is very secure. The rubber feet on the bottom keep it from sliding around, in fact, it was hard to get up off the counter at first but I found that if you put your hand under the front opening at the bottom you can list it up easily. It’s easy to take apart and clean. There is one small crevice between the chute and the edge of the lid that food can get stuck but it comes out easily if you spray water into that area. My MOST favorite part is the bowl scraper. That is SO helpful when your chopping and it tends to stick to the sides of the bowl. Just a few twists and it goes back down to be combined much smoother and quicker. Definitely would recommend to others.
