This is a great substitute for the GE brand water filter with micro chip. It works just as well at about a third of the GE versions price.

The Glacier Fresh Compatible with GE XWFE Refrigerator Water Filter is a great alternative to the actual GE filter and priced much cheaper. Very well pleased with the filter.

Excellent replacement for XWFE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent replacement for XWFE filter. Chip worked fine, filter status line turned green and showing properly the remain % of filter line. Water flow is great. Comes well packaged and includes slickers for 12 months as replacement reminder. Highly recommended.
