only used these a couple of times but they seem to burn well. i will definitely try these again. a little hold up in shipping but it's that time of year and the mail is crazy right now. will order sooner instead of when i am almost out. give them a try
Found when I opened this bag,, pellets were mostly all 2 - 3 inches long.. Did not want this size pellets going thru my auger,, because they were extremely hard to break,, even by hand.. But did break them up ( by hand ) to a more normal size, and they seemed to work okay..Quality control slip I guess......

All new to pellet grilling. Tried many different brands of pellets with all of them not lasting long in burning time. My auger would constantly be turning on. Like I said they didn't burn very long. I have a wood pellet stove in my house and burn bear mountain wood stove pellets. They burn long and hot with very little ash. I have been using them for over five years now. One day in a hardware store I happened to see bear mountain grilling pellets. I thought I would give them a try, since the wood stove pellets work so good. I purchased the alder, apple and oak. I used the apple on my chicken and they got the pellet grill, hot faster. The auger didn't come on as much. Which means the grill is staying hotter, using less pellets and holding temperature longer. The flavor of theses pellets has a better flavor than the other brands. Since using bear mountain pellets. I have noticed I get 2-3 more extra cookings out of a bag. I would recommend these pellets to all pellet grilling people out there!
