This is my 2nd 753. The first one lasted forever. I'll never own any other brand.

The 753 Large Air Circulator will blow you away... you can feel the air circulating in the room. This fan is powerful and keeps my room cool. I have a room that is sun facing/2nd floor. With the AC on 67 the room is still warm. I added this fan and it stays comfortable with the AC on 69. I have a nice cooling breeze circulating in my master bedroom.

I recently tried a few other brands of fan and wound up disappointed with lack of power. Did not have that issue with the vornado brand. I have officially learned my lesson... vornado for life

Were's the Variable speed control? Air volume is not the same as our old Vornado.

Truth in advertising with the Vornado air circulation. It works very well in the rooms I have them in. Deducted one star as only the lowest setting is quiet. This model has three settings and the highest is too loud for practical in-home use. But overall a great fan and better than oscillating types.

I bought this as I saw it listed in the New York Times as a very good device. I have no air system in my basement and needed something to keep the air from being stale. I meets my needs and the place feels cool even in this summer weather. I am thinking of getting one for my son’s new apartment.
