Fantastic fryer - superb quality. This fryer has a power on light unlike my T-Fal this one replaced. Much better quality too, although my other fryer was a great fryer, this one is my favorite

Simple operation to automatically drain old oil. Just super. Washed all the greasy parts in the dishwasher. Probably a little bigger than anticipated but very happy with our choice.

fryer fried well but after draining the cooled oil into the storage tub the next morning i found that the storage tub leaked on the underside. the storage tub is why I bought this fryer, such a great idea i thought, now maybe not. called support and they are sending a new tub, hope this one works.

Just buy it already. So far we've had fish and chips, fried pickles, and fried okra. Set up is very easy, basically foolproof. The temp control seems to be very accurate--very important for frying. Cleaning is a breeze: turn the unit off, reset temp to zero, and set the oil drain to auto. Once cooled, all of the oil will be in the reservoir for later use, and you can clean the basket, handle, cooking tub, and wipe down the heating coil. Every single thing we have made in the deep fryer has been delicious. And finally, the unit just looks great on the counter and stores away easily. It would be nice to have a longer electric cable. Also, you have to be careful to hold the oil pan top when pouring it back into the cooking pan for a later use, but these are minor things. I would buy this again without question.
