Thrilled with my purchase of the Beam (Gen 2). Super easy to install (thank you Sonos for finally making this process easy!) and it sounds amazing. The Dolby ATMOS is awesome, and the much smaller footprint of the player is wonderful. As a longtime Sonos customer, I appreciate the engineering behind this product - highly recommend it!

I was amazed when I set up this bar and the sound was very tiny. This was my first Sonos ever and heard great things but had to return it because at 100% volume I could still talk normally and go over the speakers sound. I changed my TVs settings like Sonos recommended bit nothing changed. I was very discouraged to send them back, but had to.
Cons: Difficult To Setup, Poor Sound Quality

Beam is Great but Setup with Gen 1 speakers Problematic

I replaced my Sonos playbar with a beam and moved the playbar to the bedroom. Found the setup to be difficult as the Gen 2 Beam did not really play nice with my Gen 1 sub and speakers. I did finally get it working though. That said, the app seems a tad confused by having both the beam and playbar on the network.
