The Perfect Addition to my Sonos Family

Love this sound bar....replaced an old one sound bar AND woofer with the Gen 2. Exceptional sound and great addition to my current Sonos system.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Superior Sound, Wireless Surround Sound

We love the sound from the Beam, we listen to Alexa music and it's great for our family room TV.

Wireless trouble

I love Sonos products but the beam has been a frustrating experience. When I set it up things worked fine, but after changing our WiFi setup it wouldn't connect wirelessly again. I spent an hour with supper and the end of the conversation was that I might need to hardwire the beam to the router. For what we paid that is not an ideal solution.
Cons: Difficult To Setup
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The sound from the Beam is extraordinary. I marvel at the ease of the setup for the Beam to work with my Samsung TV. The Xfinity remote? Just open the Sonos controller app, navigate to settings for remote set up, point the remote at the Beam, and toggle the volume control.

Not the loudest - Returning for the Arc

Overall good sound on low and for movies. When listening to music, the 2 Ikea Sonos speakers, and one SL drowns out the sound bar. Best for a bedroom. Even in a small NYC apartment, the beam is underwhelming. Also, using Alexa with this unit is NOT reliable.

Cons: Poor Sound Quality, Unreliable
