We love our new Sonos Beam (gen 2). I clearly separates dialog from background effects and music. It was easy to set-up and fills the room with quality sound!
Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound

Great sound but TV remote paired with the Beam just ok

Installation was easy and sound is great. I followed the instruction to pair my TV remote so I can control the Beam with just one TV remote but you have to come very close to the Beam to get the remote to work. I'm assuming it the mechanism in the Beam that is not very sensitive...

We use the sound bar for regular TV, sporting events, and movies. The sound is outstanding for our large family room.

Exactly what I wanted

Recently updated to an LG G1 and was overall unsatisfied with how the TV sounded in our wallmount. I have a small condo, but the living room has cathedral double high ceilings. So I was really interested in a soundbar that could handle dolby ATMOS but also had no upward firing speakers knowing that those wouldn't work right with our awkward ceiling and wall positioning. Overall speaker sound from the new Gen 2 Soundbar is drastically better than the TV. Multiple options allow you to quickly boost speech clarity or reduce loud sounds at night. It gets louder than I need while maintaining clear sound. And I would also say it has more base than I need for a condo where I don't want to annoy the neighbors. But If I move I could add a sub later. Setup is super easy, and the app is fairly easy to use. Better than my setup and software experience with 2021 and 2022 LG tvs. Had a tiny bit of trouble figuring out how to double check the speaker settings, but otherwise it all worked out of the box in a few minutes of setup.

Beam (Gen 2)

Tried using the Beam (Gen2) as a sound bar with LG OLED 65" TV; unfortunately these devices are not completely compatible. If I want the sound bar to work, I can't use the TV remote to control other devices; or I can disconnect the sound bar, and use the TV remote with other devices (Xbox, etc.). Sound quality seemed OK.
Cons: Difficult to Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to set up and use. I have a couple of Sonos systems. Have never been disappointed or had second thoughts about my purchase .

Hearing deficient persons and those with hearing problems find that in addition to excellent rich sound, this also clarifies speech and makes it easier to understand dialogue
