Our previous soundbar died and went to find a new one and went with Sono's Beam (Gen 2). What a joy this soundbar is, clear, has plenty of bass without having to have a bulky bass speaker. Total game changer.
Pros: Easy to use, Superior Sound, Versatile, Wireless Surround Sound
This one piece can be used in smaller environments on it's own for both music and theater. If you are experienced with other SONOS pruducts, this speaker is not as "meaty" as other designs and is really enhanced by adding a couple 5's. Or a Sub if you want the real thunder. BUT, on it's own it is very impressive with sound separation and if you live in a condo or apartment, it is plenty able to fill the room.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Speech enhancement, Wireless Surround Sound
My wife and I have different levels of hearing. We purchased a Beam gen 2 and paired it with an old play 3. She keeps the play 3 close and can hear everything without increasing the volume on the TV. I can snore!
I purchased two Sonos One speakers in December and was planning on buying a Beam but decided to wait for a few months. I'm actually glad that I did. I LOVE the features of the Beam 2 especially the voice activation.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound, Wireless Surround Sound
