Sonos Beam 2 Gen. was purchased to replace a Sony sound bar and subwoofer. I have had a Bose unit for 13 years that was great for 10 years but developed a lot os issues. I tried the Sony and took it back for bad voice sound. . I tried the Sonos next and will keep it. Easy set up and good voice & sound, could use more bass.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound, Versatile
Cons: Bass sound could be better, add on basss expensi
We had an older Samsung soundbar with a sub and were needing to upgrade. We chose the Beam without a sub because we have the opportunity to add one later along with additional speakers for the rest of the house. After our first week with the Beam we have definitely upgraded and will be adding on in the future.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Night Mode, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound, Versatile, Wireless Surround Sound
Replaced two old TV Sound Bars with Beam (Gen 2). WOW! what a difference these little guys made in small rooms. We can now hear what people are saying. Also purchased two separate speakers and placed those in other rooms for music. My iPhone works with the Soundbar and Speakers so when I play music we have a stereo system playing in all the rooms. Or I can choose which ones to turn off or on. Great! system.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound, Versatile, Wireless Surround Sound
